Procedures Include:

  • Clean or replace standard air filters. 1" size filters are replaced free of charge and other sized filters are replaced at a discounted rate.
  • Inspect cleanliness of the outdoor condenser and clean as required.
  • Inspect inside cooling coil. (Clean at discounted service rate, if necessary.
  • Inspect condenser coil - clean as necessary
  • Inspect primary and secondary drains
  • Check and clean the evaporator/cooling coil condensate drain
  • Inspect blower components - clean and/or adjust as necessary
  • Lubricate all moving parts, where applicable
  • Inspect and tighten all loose electrical connections
  • Monitor air conditioner operating pressures for proper refrigerant charge
  • Monitor voltage and amperage draw on all motors
  • Monitor air conditioning and heating cycles
  • Apply protective coating to outside unit
  • Inspect heat exchanger and burners - vacuum and/or adjust as necessary
  • Adjust gas pressure as necessary
  • Inspect pilot operation - adjust as necessary
  • Monitor flue draft for safe operation
  • Inspect and test safety controls
  • Adjust airflow for proper temperature rise
  • Inspect heat anticipator settings
  • Inspect thermostat operation
  • Inspect for cracked heat exchanger
  • Check the condition of the condenser circuit breakers and disconnect, if any
  • Check the condition of the condenser control and power wiring
  • Measure condenser current draw and voltage
  • Inspect condenser contacts for pitting
  • Check the refrigerant charge using either super heat or subcooling methods as appropriate (An extra charge may be quoted if refrigerant must be removed or added from the system)
  • Measure pressure drop across the furnace filter
  • Measure pressure drop across the evaporator/cooling coil


Costs:

The first unit is $199.95 for one year (This includes 2 check ups - Heating and Cooling). Each additional unit is $129.95 for one year. Additional savings are offered on two and three year plans. We also have plans for humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, Space-Guards and condensate pumps.

We also offer a 5% discount on the ESP price for homeowners 55 years and older.
